1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DocuSpeaker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DocuSpeaker is an AI-powered platform that converts PDF documents into video presentations featuring AI-generated avatars. The Service includes document processing, script generation, and video creation.

3. Account Registration

• You must sign in using a valid Google account to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Subscription & Payments

• Access to the Service requires an active paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly and processed through LemonSqueezy, our payment provider.
• Each subscription includes a monthly credit allowance. Different subscription tiers provide different credit allowances. Different actions (script generation, video generation, translation) consume different amounts of credits. Unused credits do not carry over to the next month.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for assistance.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload documents containing illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
• Use the Service to create misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent videos.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the Service or its infrastructure.
• Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload documents that infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.

6. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of the documents you upload and the content you create.
• You grant DocuSpeaker a limited, temporary license to process your documents solely for the purpose of generating videos.
• The DocuSpeaker name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property and may not be used without permission.
• AI-generated scripts and videos are provided for your use. You are responsible for ensuring your use of generated content complies with applicable laws.

7. AI-Generated Content

• Scripts and videos are generated using artificial intelligence and may not always be perfectly accurate.
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before sharing or publishing.
• DocuSpeaker is not liable for any inaccuracies in AI-generated scripts or videos.

8. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• Video generation times may vary depending on demand and system load.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocuSpeaker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
• You may close your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting support.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page.
